A & D Wejchert & Partners Architects have commissoned Nexus451 to develop a showcase site for their impressive portfolio of work. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with this multi-award winning architectural firm which has, for over 40 years, been at the forefront of innovation and creativity.
In 1964 Andrzej Wejchert commenced architectural practice in Ireland. It was established on the strength of the winning entry in the International Architectural Competition for the Master Plan for the new Campus and Arts, Administration and Aula Maxima Buildings for University College Dublin. The practice resources now comprise of 8 Partners, 2 Associates with 28 other Technical and Administrative Staff. Over the years A & D Wejchert & Partners have completed projects in Healthcare, Educational, Corporate, Retail and Residential. Such projects include: James Connolly Memorial Hospital, UCC: O’Rahilly Building, Galway Civic Offices, Waterford Institute of Technology: Nurse Education Building (winner of the Best Sustainable Project at the RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2007) and Sobanski Palace (Warsaw) amongst many others. The practice is member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland.
Nexus451 is a leading web technologies company with offices based in Blanchardstown, Dublin. Founded in 2002 by Niall Curran and Michael O’Dwyer. Nexus451 has continued to grow year on year and now employs 8 people. Specialising in database construction and XML integration, as well as accessible design for users, its client base has gradually evolved from its traditional base in the travel sector to providing document management solutions to the financial services and construction industries. Amongst its client are: FBD Brokers, GAB Robins, Mulcahy McDonagh & Partners, Novartis, Needahotel, Tour America, Flybe, Aer Arann and The Life Insurance Association.
